Porsche child seats cover the range of children from newborn to 12 years. This system is specifically designed to attach the child seat directly to the seat. Telescopic rods on the child seat slide out and slot into anchor points between the backrest and seat, and hold the child seat securely against the backrest. Porsche LATCH child seats can alternatively be fitted using the standard three-point safety belts.
Note: To avoid risk of injury from a deploying airbag, never place a child age 12 or under in a front seating position without a dealer installed airbag deactivation device.

Porsche child seats in a new design, meeting the latest safety standards. Specially tested and approved for Porsche cars, they provide protection and comfort for passengers up to 12 years of age. The fabrics are breathable and easy to clean with a removable and washable cover in black and grey with a contrasting red trim. The outer rear seats and front passenger seat in all Cayenne models are equipped with ISOFIX mounting points between the backrest and squab as standard. These can be used to secure any Porsche ISOFIX child seat via simple slot-in connectors. Alternatively, all Porsche child seats can be secured as normal using the standard three-point seat belts. For extra safety, the Porsche Baby and Porsche Junior Seat ISOFIX have an independent five-point belt system.
Note: 996 Carreras and 986 Boxsters - Airbag deactivation kit is required for front seat fitment (and is not included), and must be installed by an authorized Porsche dealership.

Porsche child seats can be fitted into position quickly and securely using the standard North American LATCH fastening system in conjunction with the Porsche Child Seat Fastener System which needs to be installed through your authorized Porsche dealer. Telescopic bars on the child seat lock into place between the backrest and the seat and hold it firmly to the passenger seat. Child seats may only be used in the Boxster, 911 or Cayman on the passenger seat in conjunction with the child seat fastener system.
