RSR Style stainless steel engine mount cross-bar gives your engine compartment a vintage racing look, and is much stronger than the factory original, which was made out of mild steel. The engine mount cross-bar can be left in its original brushed stainless steel finish or painted the color of your choice. Engine removal is not necessary for installation. NOTE: This is a new design that now features top and bottom flanges replicating the factory RSR race cars. Plus, gusseted mounting points built to withstand extreme horsepower and race abuse. This engine mount is by far the strongest engine brace on the market today.
Engine removal is not necessary for installation. Fits all 911 Coupe and Targa models, 1974-89.

911 Solid Engine/Transmission Mounts
Solid engine and transmission mounts are a smart upgrade for any track or aggressive street car. Solid mounts were installed on Porsche factory race cars. The stock mounts are made of compliant rubber, and while increasing riding comfort, contribute to imprecise shifting and inferior throttle response under aggressive conditions. Solid mounts create slightly more interior vibration than rubber mounts, but securely connect the engine and transmission assembly to the car's unibody, creating a crisper throttle response and shifter feel. These solid mounts are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum for strength and light weight and come with new Grade 8 mounting hardware. They install easily in both the transmission and engine mount locations for all 1971-89 911's, and in the engine mount locations only for pre-1971 911's. Sold in pairs.

On most older 911's, the cadmium-plated alternator housing strap looks worse for the wear - the plating has become dull or corroded. The factory alternator housing strap can't be replaced without removing the ignition distributor, which necessitates resetting the engine's timing. This new alternator housing strap solves both problems: the brushed stainless steel perforated strap can be left as is or painted the color of your choice, and its unique 3 piece design makes installation easy to accomplish without touching the distributor. Comes with stainless steel hardware.
